Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Paul Pinto (thingNY) teams up with flutist/ukulelist Andrea La Rose (Anti-Social Music) for an evening of quirky, but lovable songs and tuneful improvisations. The duo will perform songs from Pinto’s new album “The Gentlemen,” and La Rose’s ditties from recent editions of The Bushwick Book Club, among others. This is one of your last chances to hear La Rose before she is magically whisked off to Nuremberg…

The guiding principle of this ensemble is to create a collective of Denver and International musicians dedicated to free improvisation. In each coming performance various instrumentation and personnel changes will become the norm. You can expect to see some of the most talented and proficient musicians from around the world in all future Bottesini performances.
Each performance of Bottesini will focus strongly on a programmatic approach to free improvisation. The intent of this approach is to create musical landscapes with inherent form and structure; thus, lending the impression of composed rehearsed music.
